Research and Communications Executive
eBIO – the voice of the European bioethanol fuel industry – is
currently looking for a full-time
Research and Communication Executive
starting asap to support our Brussels office.
Profile
- Candidates should have a postgraduate degree and a good understanding
of European energy and environment issues.
- A minimum of 12 months working experience in research/analysis
or communications.
- Experience in a EU related Institution, trade association or
Consultancy a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English native
speaker or equivalent. Other European languages a plus.
- Eligible to work in Belgium.
Characteristics
- Self Starter, quality and result oriented.
- Quick learner and team player.
- Computer literate. Knowledge of website management a plus.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be working closely with the Director for Policy and the Director of Communications
- Monitoring of EU energy and environment affairs and relevant
parliamentary committees.
- Research, analysis and strategic advice on energy, environment,
climate change and all topics relevant to the activities of eBIO.
- Drafting of policy positions and other communication material;
editorial and quality control.
- Managing outreach and communications activities as directed, including the eBIO website.
- Developing and coordinating a network with national bioethanol fuel associations.
- General office management and organising meetings.
